Reality Robustus […or, a germ stole my thunder]

Since my last post [forever ago in the context of instant and immediate everything], I have been immersed in a new book project that’s drawn most of my available energy, which was already in short supply after coming down with the flu this past December. My particular strain has its own designation, H3N2. Some on the Internet tell me it’s an interstellar bug that escaped government protection, while others claim the government manufactured it to use on millennials. Either way, the shit got loose and found a home in a Baby-Boomer.

The lingering effects are legion: Fatigue, weakness, low appetite, cough, airway irritation that affects how long you can be active, loss of sense of smell [which in rare cases becomes permanent], and, in my case, you can tack on paranoia, depression, nightmares and mild dissociative states…among others.

Anyway, once the worst of it had passed, my idea was to take things slowly, not try to rush back to the gym until my stamina was rebuilt. At this writing, however, I’m still waiting.

When I was 23 the flu was an abstraction. I got sick, hung out at home, healed in three days, and met friends out for celebratory drinks. I won. There were no extenuating circumstances, no complications, nothing I gave much consideration to because none of it was particularly relevant. Nobody died back then, at least not until they were too old to live, which was fine since we all agreed that growing that old was like experiencing death in slow motion.

Now I see the extenuating circumstances, the potential for complications, and the shorter life expectancy in real time.

Having run down all of this down with you, I’m not dying. I didn’t contract cancer or have a stroke or brain aneurism or spinal injury. I got the flu and developed psychiatric problems from extended exposure to Webmd.com.

The point in all of this is that at this stage of life you’re in a steady state of low-level paranoia, coupled with reflection and denial. Put another way, what’s reflected is usually denied. So you have to come to a place of acceptance, which requires decades of therapy.

You’re no longer physically beautiful, unless of course, you’re Robert Plant, which you’re not. And death is closer than ever, virus or no virus. Your sense of relevance is constantly under siege no matter what you did to become the person you are which, like I said, is closer to death. For many of you this is the end of mental health, especially you guys on the precipice of 50 squeezing out that last hurrah before staring down the barrel of aesthetic annihilation. One steroid shot after the next, week after week, in tandem with the endless runs, swims, bike rides and weight training sessions that collectively earn one that bronzed wrap, star white teeth and endless string of broken marriages, all in favor of the drug of self. Your time is around the corner. Buckle up.

So here I am, starting the New Year with a bang. In truth, I have nothing to bitch about that doesn’t embarrass me. I have financial security, a family of animals…and a wonderful, loving and reasonably sane woman half my age that puts up with me. What’s not to love?

In this spirit, my blog posts begin anew for 2018.

MORALS OF THE STORY

1] Money does, in fact, buy happiness as long as you’re physically healthy, which money enables you to maintain.

2] Psychiatry is a noble profession.

3] Looks fade, but not heart. In this sense, relevance is eternal.

Russian Model Sues Sugar Daddy: Surprise, Surprise.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4119928/Russian-model-sues-married-real-estate-developer-kicked-not-sleeping-him.html

Here in Houston, Texas, this is so commonplace it rarely makes the news.

Suffice to say, men are idiots, otherwise known as “Soft Targets” [see: Urban Dystrophy, Amazon].

Many middle age men have never dated anyone other than a college classmate with whom they went on to marry and procreate.

Family vacations, aging and existential angst caught up to them and suddenly they’re divorced – or in and out of divorce court.

The money and power and sense of entitlement catch up to them and they want out, but to get out they have to play a game they’re ill-equipped for.

The women in their sites are everything they’ve always wanted, on the surface.

These women know exactly what that is and leverage it like venom.

Now these idiots are broke, estranged and struggling to pay a therapist.

The hooker is just conducting business, for god’s sake.

Rich Men Choose Younger Women the Way They Choose Automobiles

I’m going to say some things here that are going to seriously piss off a lot of people.

Not that you aren’t used to it by now, but I’m really going in on this one.

Seat belts please…

~~~
The article above from www.yourtango.com appeared earlier this year, but brings up certain realities that mirror my own world.
It was penned by a matchmaker who refuses to handle female clients because, as she puts it, “successful older men prefer to date younger women is because THEY CAN.”
“In this tough singles market, if a man pays top dollar for a matchmaker, he expects nothing less than a 29-year-old model.”
And since women are attracted to confidence and power, they embrace older men who are in possession of both…in abundance.
This is not to say that some younger men aren’t filthy rich.
But if a woman is also looking for security, get in line.
Odds are young men have youth and beauty and nothing more, which is why they don’t need matchmakers. They need bodyguards.
Around Houston, it’s commonplace to see drop-dead beautiful young women in the arms of wealthy older men.
In fact, it’s kind of weird not to, unless the couple have been together a long time and she still looks great courtesy of surgeons and cash.
Is any of this fair? In a certain sense, no.
But in the context of commodities in a world of demand and supply, it’s as fair as it gets.
SNAPSHOT
One guy I know has a list of attributes all women he dates must be in possession of…or the “relationship” will last about an hour.
1] Straight white teeth and healthy gums.
2] Clear complexion.
3] Height/weight proportionate [like a fitness model].
4] Fit [like a fitness model].
5] Breasts and butt perky and proportionate [like a fitness model].
6] Stylish
7] Articulate
8] Sexy
9] Funny
10] Trustworthy
Now, as everyone knows, this woman does no exist. So what many men do is divvy up the attributes to see if whatever is missing can be improved upon.
For example, if a given candidate is small chested, breast augmentation is a slam dunk.
If she needs a little toning up, a personal trainer can get right on that.
If her teeth aren’t perfectly straight – or white – there’s a cosmetic dentist on every street corner.
But not everything can be fixed, so he throws the dice and hope she changes.
But most men of true means don’t have to hope for change because they can afford to purchase love like Gucci handbags.
It’s the guys who don’t have quite enough juice to keep the dice from bouncing of the walls every which way who sleep with one eye open.
Understand that the more money and power a man has, the more line items he can check.
As for these young women, did you know that most Americans haven’t been to Rome?
I know. It’s hard to believe.
The same applies to Aspen, Monaco, Paris and the Amalfi Coast.
Did you know that most young women do not own a Hermes handbag?
I’m serious!
So let’s say you’re a 29-year-old woman with looks to burn for the next 3 or 4 years, in a dead-end job, and dating a hot guy who’s sleeping with your best friend, but only when he’s on furlough from prison?
The guy is a derelict. He’s going nowhere but down, and you with him.
Enter a 55-year-old investment banker with class and charm and wit – and yes, money – and the derelict is a very distant memory.
These older men know their positions in the human food chain. They know what they can and cannot do, can and cannot have, and the women are no different.
In the absence of a prominent background and trust fund, the culturally average woman must leverage what she does have in order to acquire what she otherwise never will.
This does not mean that young women who choose to date older men are in it purely for the money. In fact, many fall deeply in love with their daddies.
This is the ideal scenario and it’s more common than you might imagine.
Remember the old expression: “Men fall in love with their eyes, women with their ears.”
So what happens to divorced women in their mid-40’s with kids and a heavy mortgage?
SCREWED.
What rich, powerful, handsome 45-year old guy wants a 45-year-old woman with kids?
He wants a 25-year-old fitness model with no kids and a penchant for travel.
The matchmaker offers these three alternatives:
1] Find a matchmaker who accepts women as clients
2] Join hobby groups
3] Get out of the house
I’ll add three more:
1] Get in the best shape of your life.
2] Make damn sure your teeth are straight and white
3] Find the best plastic surgeon in town for the necessary maintenance.
FINAL REMARKS
As I have said a millions times before, wealthy older women can always hire houseboys.
In fact, I have noticed an extraordinary rise in older women/younger men couplings due to lackluster economic conditions over the past 8 years.
Anorexia the Height of Achievement to Women of Means [and the go-to look for the affluent older men in their lives]
At my health club, there is a certain go-to look among the women of affluence: “Long, lean, timeless and elegant” is the way its described.
Bulky, curvy and/or overly muscled women are considered low class.
It’s a look relegated to strippers, sugar babies, and prostitutes for the most part.
But it can also include tattoo artists, bartenders, figure models, and “convention” girls hired to showcase things like expensive automobiles.
Thus, an incredibly thin body has become the new way to signal wealth and distinguish oneself from the masses.
“I’m successful, intelligent and at the top of my game…”
FACTOID
Alexa Chung Amal Clooney look so under-developed that, in some cases, critics say they appear pre-pubescent.
Some stars appear to have waists the same sizes as catwalk models, many of whom measure 24in — the same as an eight-year-old child.
BACK NOISE
Achieving this look suggests an abundance of leisure time, which is also important element in this equation, reinforcing the overall narrative.
One must spend hours honing their physiques at the gym, and “the income to maintain a fantastically expensive diet and exercise regime.”
Of course, pressure from outside sources as well as from their own personal relationships play a part.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Many affluent older men I happen to know personally prefer this look in their women.
They see it as intelligent, sophisticated and timeless…kind of the way they see themselves.
The women, therefore, are reflections of their narcissistic projection.
A businessman wants to introduce a Stepford Wife to his colleagues because of what it conveys.
After all, no one could possibly suggest that she didn’t care about her appearance, or that she was unhappy at home…or depressed.
In fact, quite the opposite.
When a man introduces a woman who is curvy or in any way carrying extra baggage, the take-away is that he is less successful, less powerful.
Further to this is simple physics.
Smaller women are also easier to control in bed, thus reinforcing the man’s power and influence. As men age, they are less agile, which emaciation on the part of the partner mitigates.
And finally, there is the “pre-pubescent” thing.
I hate to dwell here, but in my view, many of these men secretly harbor a fetish for little girls. It’s kind of like statutory rape, only legal.
Seriously, why else would grown men prefer sleeping with someone who resembles a 12-year-old child?
The Forensics of Rich Older Men and the Young Women in Their Lives
390213131bafbab995f21931fac65102-2_zpsv9sdj7wu
“Hell yes, I’m down. No money. Psychiatric problems I can’t even pronounce. No job prospects. One foot in the gutter. So yea, that old man looks damn good at this point. What other choice do I have? It’s hell out here and I’m not getting any younger…”
…………..
After a certain point, relationships tend to be more about conscious asset balancing. This is not cynicism. It’s just another door to love, rather than the one we used when we were in our twenties.
Thus, when people see young women in the company of much older men, they see a very specific equation. But there’s often a lot more to it.
For example, let’s say an affluent man of 65 begins to see a woman of 35.
He may be in excellent physical health while she’s one foot under a bridge.
Men her age aren’t interested in her because she’s fallen through the cracks, in spite of a lingering beauty, unmistakable from days gone by.
Such men easily find others their own age who are successful attorneys, doctors, engineers and other gainfully employed professionals without the physical and psychiatric disabilities.
So she makes a conscious decision to do something about it by leveraging what she does have [youth and lingering beauty] against everything she doesn’t [the list is endless], and comes up with a man 30 years her senior willing to take her on in exchange for companionship and the prospect of real love.
He’s old and successful, she’s relatively young and broken, but with the proper care and financial resources he can rebuild a broken soul while satisfying his own needs at the same time.
She gets elaborate shelter, a constant resupply of meds, funds for medical check-ups, plastic surgery, fillers, Botox, travel and a closet full of designer clothing.
What’s not to love?
Over time she reemerges as someone else, a better her, the one she left behind a decade ago now on top of the human food chain.
And while she did, in fact, “sacrifice” years [Read: work], her efforts paid off handsomely.
Now you know why so many young women are in the company of rich older men, and why money is only part of the equation.
How Do We [Baby Boomers] Appear to Those Around Us?
jaymodel“Some things are more precious because they don’t last long.”
Oscar Wilde
When I was in my 20’s I knew exactly what I looked like to people around me.
I knew that i was relatively handsome, fit and young.
This was affirmed everywhere I went. I wasn’t deluded, unlike most people I know these days.
Then time passed – a lot of it, actually – and I no longer knew.
People started to see and interact with me differently…or not acknowledge me at all.
WTF?
Some refer to this as invisibility, but I prefer other words that don’t provoke ego annihilation.
The weird thing about all this is that I still feel young. Or youngish.
My knees ache a little in the mornings, and my joints are tighter than at any time in memory.
But the truth is I don’t remember what 25 felt like, but I have to assume that no matter what it felt like was irrelevant in the scheme of things.
A childhood friend described a moment recently where he was strolling along the beach and a beautiful young woman passed him by without noticing him.
“I though she might at least glance over…”
“It wasn’t that long ago when we would both smile and maybe look back at one another, and everything would be exactly where it belonged.”
But there is no normal any more.
Getting older requires a constant re-acquaintance with oneself.
But this is easier said than done, particularly for people who spent their lives doing exactly what they wanted to do and remaining child-free.
And people wonder why big corporations want their employees married with children.
“Love is a Concept Invented by Poor People…” Seeking Arrangement Founder, Brandon Wade
Ashley reminds me of someone I once dated, also an entrepreneur.
Now understand something here: The woman posing with Mr. Wade in the above photo would have no problem waltzing right over his dead body if he weren’t filthy rich.
I don’t mean this in any negative way, but Mr. Wade had to make himself valuable in order to earn visibility, which everyone understands and appreciates.
This revelation set him ablaze with passion to acquire the one asset that would act as a carbon credit for whatever he lacked elsewhere.
Next thing you know, he goes meteoric and declares “love is a concept created by the poor!” before heading off to CNN for an interview.
By the way, a rough translation of his statement is If you don’t have money, no one will love you, which is why poor people created it in the first place.
Okay. Whatever. I get it. We get it. Pretty much all of us, really.
Baby Boomers like myself suffer physical attrition after enough water’s under the bridge.
Fortunately, though, many of us are able to leverage money and power against the cost of aging and manage to stay square with the gods.
Now you know why seekingarrangement.com claims 1.9 million subscribers…and climbing.
On a general note, there is absolutely nothing novel about prostitution.
Whether you couch it as “Hey, I just need a little help with college,” or “Hey, want a blowjob?” you’re still hooking.
Having said this, everything these days is relative.
Just how relative depends on the price tag.
The more you spend, the more normal everything seems.
On a related note, most of the women my peers end up with are passed from one older man to the next within their own immediate peer group.
This is because the women in question are known commodities who’ve been properly vetted, and therefore, predictable within reason.
The downside is that there is often a limited supply of such women within certain demographics, which usually triggers bidding wars resulting in some of the best television fodder on the planet.
The Often Overlooked Differences Between Youth and Middle Age
youthAny one of these people could have rolled out of bed 10 minutes ago.
If any of these people rolled out of bed 10 minutes ago instead of several hours ago after hair and make-up for this photo shoot, they’d frighten children.
~~~

Last night we went attending the opening of a new art gallery in Houston.

No big deal, right?

Hardly.

But before I get into this, allow me to offer some perspective.

When I was 25, going out was a straight line between the thought and the front door: I put on some clothes and walked out knowing I looked presentable no matter what I looked like.

If I hadn’t combed my hair, it probably looked better than it would if I spent an hour in front of the mirror with sprays and gels.

My skin was, you know, young,  my jawline sharp. Rarely did I see bloodshot eyes no matter what I did to myself the night before.

And by the way, there also wasn’t a single, solitary hair anyplace other than where it was from the time I was 14.

In short, I was ripe for breeding.

Then time passed…and I didn’t die.

Some say we linger no matter what we actually do, but to the point: I was no longer able to do what I didn’t have to do back in the day.

No, this is not what you want to hear, I get it. Believe me, I know. But we’re here and this is what we have to deal with if we want to, you know, linger.

Now lingering is also relative, so there’s some hope if you’re willing – and/or able – to read between the lines.

For example, people are not static images on a two-dimensional page, so there’s that.

In reality, there’s money and experience and a whole lot of other stuff that creates a composite that often acts as a carbon credit against physical attrition.

But no matter what an older adult has in their favor, they cannot escape an aging appearance, which requires propping up every step of the way in order to maintain some degree of objective attractiveness.

Some things are simply not subjective no matter how you spin the narrative.

So how does all of this translate?

1] Dentists handle our teeth, which, of course, involves regular cleanings – but also crowns, veneers, whitening, bonding…and root canals to name a few more.

2] Then there’s the hair-where-it-doesn’t-belong thing. We either visit a stylist [usually the case with women], or we do it ourselves, with often catastrophic results.

3] Did I mention diet? Yea, if you want to make it into your 50’s without type-2 diabetes and/or every other imaginable health problem, you have to eat clean, with the exception of one “cheat” meal per week.

4] You have to get plenty of sleep, and I mean 8 hours of sleep each and every night if you plan to remember your mother’s name.

5] You will be forced to conform to a certain set of standards required of adults in nice neighborhoods.

For example:

a] You cannot walk out of your home bare-chested, or in a wife beater, or in your underwear without being branded clinically insane and an imminent danger to neighborhood children.

          b] You cannot punch out your neighbor for being noisy on a Sunday morning. Instead you will contact your HOA or local police and let them handle it for you.

          c] You will abstain from contentious remarks or unnecessary cursing, lest you be excluded from HOA meetings that will now involve discussion about what to do about you.

6] You will stay in reasonable shape, which your personal trainer will help ensure.

7] If your wife or girlfriend is significantly younger than you, expect not to invited to social functions involving age-appropriate wives.

8] Nobody cares if you’re a member of the LGBT community as long as your home and lawn are well manicured.

9] If you own a vehicle not on the acceptable vehicle list, you will be labelled curious, and usually outright dismissed.

a] Acceptable adult vehicles include, Range Rover, Lexus, Porsche, Chevrolet Yukons and Suburbans, Mini, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Maserati, Ferrari and classic muscle cars in pristine condition. I may have missed one or two, but you get my point. Lamborghini is considered     white trash no matter how much money you have.

         b] Vehicles on the kill list included any late model muscle car and Econoline vans.

10] Finally [for the moment] you must know the law. If not, you can and will be sued for anything and everything imaginable, including everything.

a] Understand that many affluent people are bored out of their minds, particularly if they’re in bad physical shape, hate their wives, or suffer clinical depression stemming from fading relevance, leaving them staring down the barrel of destiny. Thus, always be considerate of others, understand that you live in a neighborhood of which you are a member [not a king], and abide by the statutes set forth by your home owner’s association. While your kids can do pretty much anything they want, leveraging youth against bad behavior, the buck will always stop with you.

Yes, I know, getting older can be a friggin’ nightmare, but it’s not without its perks.

I’ll elaborate in my next installment.

Is Izabel Goulart the Preferred Female Physique of the Successful Older Man?

2CCE3C4200000578-0-image-m-98_1443325278792

Victoria’s Secret model, Izabel Goulart, 30, 5’9,” 117 lbs.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3250622/Supermodel-Izabel-Goulart-puts-cheeky-display-tiny-bikini-frolics-beach-Rio-Janeiro.html

Disclaimer: What older men claim to prefer in terms of physical proportion in women –– and what they actually crave behind closed door are often two entirely different things.

This aside, according to the vast – and I mean VAST – majority of affluent older men I happen to know, the preference is “skinny and proportionate” like Ms. Goulart [above].

In fact, this look has become so ingrained in this upper echelon demographic that every woman exhibits symptoms of an eating disorder.

But why exactly do such men choose skinny women over what every poll ever conducted in the history of mankind has indicted: a preference for curves?

Top 6 Reasons:

#1] They’re “safe.”

Skinny is the safe choice. No one will put you down for choosing a thin woman.

The are no “saddlebags” references or related vitriol likely to embarrass and man who wants the world to see his conquest on an existential plane.

#2] Easy to physically maneuver, mostly in bed.

Fem-bigot-ageist narrative suggests that men prefer skinny women because they are easier to physically dominate.

While this is certainly true, one must also understand that older men are less inclined to make sex a full-on workout, so the more a woman can do the better.

#3] The smaller they are, the bigger “you” are.

As every man who sleeps with women knows, the bigger they are the smaller “you” look.

Conversely, the smaller they are, the more you resemble a porn star.

I’ve heard men say that a drop in just 10 pounds can add a full inch in both length and girth.

On a related note, men report that with skinny women they can penetrate deeper because there are no “fat ass cheeks or thighs to work around.”

And while I have little experience in this regard, it does make sense from the standpoint of basic physics.

#4] Look great in designer apparel, or anything else for that matter.

As one man put it, “I have dated a few tall skinny model types, and there is absolutely a feeling of “Winning” with one by your side. I have precious little use for social standing at this point in my life but it is a nice, unique perk.”

Such women are born and bred for fashion, which is why they go to Gucci instead of Target.

Their commodity value hinges on their ability to morph into whatever a man of the world envisions his mate to look like, particularly in public.

And because their frames of reference are all the same, their women tend to resemble one another.

#5] Good future prospects of maintaining desirable weight.

Like any investment, men are looking at all aspects of an acquisition, longevity being one of them.

If he builds a house today, will it be just as attractive 20 years from now?

So while “curvy” women may be fun for many in the bedroom, skinnier ones hold up better for long-term relationships and/or marriage

#6] They just look smarter and more sophisticated.

While superior intelligence has no basis in truth, skinny women just look smarter.

They certainly understand affluent older men.

Of course, the same applies to prostitutes.

The Truth About Online Dating at Middle Age

Terrified woman talking on phone, (B&W), portrait

If you think delusion was rampant among adolescents, try this!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michelle-martin/online-dating-profile_b_7524482.html

I talk to older men all the time about their online dating exploits and its never pretty, mostly because the women in question bear no resemblance to the ones in the profiles.

As for older women, they seem to have a better time of it – at least in the short run – because while the men are generally polite and attentive, they tend to disappear after the check’s signed.

So what’s up?

As I enumerate, ad nausea, in my new book, Urban Dystrophy [Amazon], expectations always supersede reality.

The article cites a pet peeves of men, the usual suspects:

1] Too many pets.

2] Photoshopped images.

3] Looking for perfection.

4] Claim to be athletic, but aren’t.

5] Presenting boudoir shots while demanding respect.

6] Complaining about men.

~~~
Let’s break this down:
1] Many women acquire pets when men fail to live up to their expectations.
After enough defeated expectations, many women turn to animals and call it a family.
I’ve dated a few of these, and believe me when I tell you, it’s a nightmare for any man. Not only does he have to deal one manifestation of her PTSD, but he’s also dealing with her “kids.”
So why does she want a man when she already has animals?
2] Photoshopping is a pandemic not unlike the black plague, but with a higher emotional kill rate.
Women Photoshop-to-death virtually every image they post of themselves after the age of 40.
By the time they hit 45, their skin looks like Barbie’s molded rubber face.
Men know all about this, which is why they should demand a driver’s license number and birth certificate.
Women set themselves up for disaster knowing full well that men see with their eyes first before they consider anything else, including everything else.
3] Prince Charming does not exist at this juncture in life.
Now you’re balancing commodities, one against another. If the plus column is bigger than the minus column, consider yourself lucky.
I know it sounds weird, but most men had lives before they met you.
Now they have mortgages, therapy bills and a bipolar ex or two lurking just around the corner.
No matter what they look like, just know that what you see is rarely what you get.
On a final note, they have the same expectations in their heads and are ten times more likely to pay for what they can find on the Internet.
4] “Athletic and toned” is the buzz-phrase for every woman who wants a man, any man.
Here’s a quote on this topic from my new book:
“…a woman who runs five miles a day may think she’s in great shape, in spite of the fact that she doesn’t have great shape. Athletic accomplishments don’t balance emaciation, stretch marks, and sun damage no matter how you spin it.”
I always suggest to women that they ignore what men tell them about how perfect their bodies are, and instead, focus their attention on whether or not the phone rings after the first date.
5] Boudoir shots against a backdrop of “I want a serious relationship” are a contradiction in strategy.
Men see half naked shots as an open invitation to exploit what appears to be an Internet sex addiction, not meet a woman who’s open-minded in the bedroom.
Keep in mind that shots posted on the internet are, in fact, on the internet! Not in a scrapbook! Does any man with a reputation to uphold want those shots of you all over cyberspace?
6] Bitching about men is like telling everyone your best days are behind you.
We’ve all had bad break-ups, crappy dates, defeated expectations.
But any kid will tell you that the one thing that reveals a person’s age more than anything else is the constant bitching.
Young people don’t bitch because they’re young. Old people do bitch because they’re old.
Got it?
Bottom line, nobody wants to inherit your toxic waste anymore than they want to care for your parakeets.
SUMMARY
Older men already know that older women who post online profiles are probably in deep water.
When a woman is in her early 30’s its fine because many are steeped in their careers and have little time to meet and mingle.
But once a woman hits her mid 40’s, think of it as a suspect line-up.
This is why the best policy for older women trawling the internet for dates is as follows:
1] State your age [fudging 1 or 2 years is fine. 10 should constitute a class-1 felony.
2] State your education, including degrees from online institutions.
3] State any clinical diagnosis, including personality disorders.
4] State the number of marriages that have failed.
5] State the number of children you have, and don’t state that they’re the “love of your life” or the guy will run away from what he perceives to be an already established family.
6] State your financial situation [i.e., I’m broke and looking for a job, or I’m currently unemployed].
What an older man wants to hear from an older woman is something along the lines of “I have my own business and don’t need you to pay my mortgage.”
7] If you are fit as you state, he’ll see it in your photos. So make sure they are close-up…and crystal clear.
If you attempt to overly indulge in Photoshop, he’ll see that too.
